Overview
The residential home energy revolution is booming. More people every day are seeking ways to control their energy costs with smart home management systems. This includes solar power. Vinyasun is seeking seasoned inside sales professionals who can professionally communicate with the hundreds of new inquiries from homeowners seeking solar options which we receive weekly.
As the first point of contact, it will be the responsibility of the Inside sales team member to skillfully qualify new potential customers and schedule an in-home site survey and product demonstrations for members of our outside field sales team.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the success of the organization by guiding quality prospects through the sales channel
- Comfortable making 50-100 calls per day including following the email and lead nurturing cadence
- Manage lead flow to ensure customer satisfaction and successfully grow team sales
- Schedule new and follow-up consultations over the phone or via email for our sales representatives
- Determine suitability of sites using proprietary tools and satellite technology
- Exceed set quotas and work in a fast-paced environment
- Deal effectively with all inquiries and represent Vinyasun in a professional manner
- Must be able to elicit customer’s interest and concerns while providing pertinent information to the customer
Qualifications
- Have at least 1-year sales experience with a proven track record
- Previous inside sales, home improvement appointment setting, experience is preferred
- Ability to learn new technology and procedures
- Be proficient with MS Office and Salesforce CRM systems
- Must be customer focused
- Previous knowledge of solar power is preferred
- Proven track record of working in a target driven environment
- Previous experience carrying a sales quota
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to use sound judgment in the qualifying process
- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal screen
- Excellent Customer Service Skills Required
